“Law School for Public Works Engineers”
The WSACE Professional Development Committee is pleased to be offering a popular professional development conference titled “Law School for Public Works Engineers.” Conference attendees will learn about the fundamentals of the law and legal system as it relates to contract law, torts, negligence, lawsuits, testimony, including a mock trial. The conference will be led by Nadine Nasser Donovan, Esq., associated with the SEAK, which provides expert witness training..
Hotel Registration
The conference will be held at the Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington. You may contact the resort at 1-866-904-6301 and identify yourself as part of the Washington State Association of County Engineers room block. The conference rate is $83 per night, plus a resort fee of $20 plus tax. The room block closes on January 3, 2014. More information about the Suncadia Resort can be found here.
Conference Registration
The total conference cost is $650 including all meals. The conference begins at 1PM on Wedndesday, February 5, 2014 and concludes at Noon on Friday, February 7, 2014.
Conference meals include dinner on Wednesday and Thursday, lunch on Thursday and breakfast on Thursday and Friday. If anyone has special meal requirements, please contact Sarah Langley at growe@wacounties.org.
